【Echo Tech】 About cutting “Styrene paper and board”.

Styrene board is popularly used for Architects’ models.

“Styrene Paper” is a simple board of foaming material, and “Styrene Board” is a styrene board stuck paper on its surface.
These are results of styrene paper and board’s cutting test.
We cut 180 mm length with ZO-91 Normal mode (1 kg pressure) using measurement instrument.

(thickness/ cutting time)
・Styrene Paper
1 mm/ 1 sec.
2 mm/ 11 sec.
3 mm/ 15 sec.

Even 3 mm thickness, it able to cut without ultrasonic, but it little bit took time for cutting.

・Styrene board
1 mm/ 2 min.
2 mm/ 37 sec.
3 mm/ 25 sec.

It’s interesting that thick board tends to be able to cut faster.
We still don’t have clear reason of this.
