In Japan, government will decide to make “declaration of emergency” this afternoon. Designated area, Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto which infection cases are keep rising will be restrict for their transportation and restaurant’s working time. The period has set until end of GW. Responding to this action, some other prefectures are announcing execute original measure. Those are planned to avoid expansion of infection between peoples in GW. Last year, we experienced quarantine while GW, and we know this will be a second time of long silent vacation. We able to decrease a rate of infection after GW last year, but it rebounded soon before upcoming summer. I have wrote same thing many times in this blog, “when people released from stress, they will soon start make action to retrieve their fun time, wasting their effort”. It may be lead same consequence(expansion of infection) in last, but if you see in long term, this “declaration of emergency” may be a good decision.
There are no other way, except to live along with corona virus.
What I thought seeing long term measure against pandemic is that we absolutely could not exterminate virus, and need to live along with corona. We have to wait development of vaccine, and what we could do is decrease infection rate and fatality until then. Quarantine, wearing mask, sterilization, any elements shows it’s effective for protect yourself from virus. However, people feels stress for caring too much, and make impact for some industries business, so it has to make term of “stress free”, even if we expose under risk of infection. Keep term of quarantine and rest, this measure is need to earn time.
