Since coronavirus has outbreak, we have restricted flying to oversea and faced difficulty of product promotion. That was our start of using social media for promotion.

We are constantly uploading pictures, movies, information of ultrasonic products to make promotion directly toward consumers.
Promotion on social media.
In previous years, exhibition were our standard way of product promotion.
One of our product, “ultrasonic cutter” is hard to make image its function without trying. Exhibition was best place for promotion, let businessman and consumers to use products.
We thought explaining with letters or movies on internet sites or books are not enough that viewer understands at then.
Passed about 2 years since we made social media accounts, we keep posts pictures and movies relates to our product almost everyday. Starts from zero followers now become over 400 followers(Instagram) and we always have reaction from them in each our posts. There were some followers who already had ultrasonic cutter, and they spread our information to their own followers. Kept announce by many followers, the announce effect become multiplied leads big share of information in that site.
Social media is now become major place where world wide peoples most watches in common.
Simple registration and site’s system that easily connects peoples to trend information leads this popularity. It has already used as business advertisement for some companies, but we could easier imagine it will be more big place for commercial promotion.
Recently, those sites are available to do live streaming.
At last exhibition(DIY show) we attended, we set mobile phone on desk and use this live streaming, showing ultrasonic cutter demonstration to oversea followers. Expecting next new system update for each sites, the range of promotion usage might be expand and it becomes standard place for commercial advertisement in near future.
Hard to make promotion toward companies? Appeal to consumers.
Companies hardly meet new order or business chance especially in present condition.
Restricted to visit everywhere, no exhibitions, particular services are unavailable… possibly many of manufacturers faces same difficulty. Against this condition, we saw many new business matching sites launched under this corona pandemic. We are one of company which registered such a matching site, but still couldn’t connect to any of new business.
..and we decided to shift target to consumers.
Fortunately, social media was a best media for promoting to consumer, that people majorly looks in their private.
In this condition, we thought that even if we promote to sellers, they will be also face to difficulty of promotion the product which they don’t know well. First we make selling field by appealing directly to consumers. Increase of recognition turns to “trend”. Reacting to this movement, sellers will find the product’s supplier, and those distributor will find manufacturer. Making stream of information, opposite order of supply chain(Consumer → Seller → Distributor → Manufacturer), we succeeded to increase our sales from previous years.
Free and best timing to start!
As we felt at first time, you might get hard to handle social media as advertisement.
“Keep posting everyday” is the key of enhancing your promotion.
