【Echo Tech】 Risk of using ultrasonic cutter Japanese model at oversea except in Japan.
Most models we get inquiry of malfunction from oversea are ZO-41Ⅱ and ZO-80, which are Japanese use model. We are restricting exportation of those Japanese models to oversea, but it still sold to oversea from some of Japanese sellers. Even if you find at oversea market, it is high risk to use that might occur serious accidents, please do not purchase it.
(Japanese model) ZO-30PLA, ZO-40R, ZO-41Ⅱ, ZO-80
(Oversea model) ZO-91, ZO-95
Watch out for electrical trouble!
We got message from Chinese user, that their ZO-80 get broken.
Device’s two lamps blinks when the output switch turned ON, and blade vibration stops when blade touches work material. We have sent back the unit to our company and disassembled unit for inspection.
We could not find problem inside the main unit and hand piece. We confused because we never faced such an unit malfunction before.
Thinking cause of problem with other staffs for an hour… some salesman reminds that he faced similar situation in past. He was charging of sales at different department in past, and experienced that ultrasonic product broke when it turned ON, due to high output.
We immediately have test how does it work when ultrasonic cutter activates within high output. Later, we found unit shows same symptom. In ZO-80, it attaches AC adaptor that corresponds to 100~240V for AC. Normally, there are no problem even it has used in China(220V).
Then why it happens?
In some of regions in oversea, sometimes currency defect happens. Currency level accidentally become higher for just few moment. This time, we could say it’s fortune that accident doesn’t involve user. There are risk user might get injure by electrical accident.
Same accident might occur for oversea models!
We attach same AC adaptor to all ultrasonic cutter models(except ZO-30PLA and ZO-40R), so just shifting to oversea model doesn’t be a solution for this problem. Then what is the merit of using oversea models?
