【Echo Tech】 Study current market, standing at Genba.
“Genba” is a Japanese word that represents fields where certain work has fulfilling.
I tried hard to find out how to say Genba in English, but I still could not find matching word.
The “certain work” for Genba could replace to various things, such as place where it has used, sold, demanded, made, etc.
Genba could say that it is a “front line of certain works” what you focused for.
For example…
Genba for medicine is a hospital,
Genba for tools are factory,
Genba for ultrasonic cutter ZO series, sight from sales is hobby shop, user is plastic modelers (modeling contest).
“Salesman could learn many things at Genba than sit in front of an office desk.”
Our boss use to say this word to all salesmen.
Because market information such as trend, demand, competition, price rate, all things change periodically, it’s important to see those with your eyes at front line, Genba.
