How to advertise the product to consumers directly from manufacturer.

How do your company sells product to consumers?

The form of “sales channels”(distribution channels) is different in each country and industry type. In here Japan, the flow mentioned below is most standard form that product reach to consumers.

Manufacturer → Sales company → Consumer

I’m taking charge of oversea sales, and feel manufacturer selling to consumers are high proportionally existing. However, most of manufacturers are inferior of advertisement capacity toward consumers than companies specialized to distributing products, because they have wide network and implements contacting to consumers. Then what should manufacturer do for facilitate their advertisement?

1. Use Internet

Most of companies are possibly practicing this way. Homepage, SNS, Shopping site, Blog, there are many usable contents in internet which could use free. Because many peoples are viewing those sites and age is now transferring to internet, this method may be best way to making advertisement widely and with low cost. 

Lately, due to COVID-19 pandemic, most of exhibitions are closing and fairs administrators are are opening exhibitions on internet. Since you don’t need to pay time and cost for transportation, exhibiting, and hotel, you may be get big outcome with low expenses.

2. Attend to Exhibition

Exhibition is a place many of manufacturer gathered and introduce their products to visitors. Some of exhibitions are accepting general visitors not only businessman, you could get chance to promote toward both ways. It will be better to let visitors to try your products.

3. Go to shop and make promotion

If you already have fix consumers and popularity of brand, to promote products standing in front of store and let customers touch may effective for advertisement. People who doesn’t know your product will notice by trying. Also, people are use to coming to place where people are gathered.

People try your product → Shows reaction → Other people see it → Gather to your booth

This circulation of “People calls people” occurs same as exhibition.

4. Find new way who never tried

Because there are no correct answer for business, to find new way, not conventional way is one of a way to develop your sales market. We anticipate that internet will be a core of business place. Set target sales on popular internet, or direst promotion which is less competence, either way has possibility of making sales.
