Ultrasonic atomizer unit HM series.

Ultrasonic atomizer unit frequency is 2.4MHz, which is higher than Ultrasonic humidifier unit.
It atomizes super fine particles(under 3μm).

HM2412 and HM2412C which we used to selling had discontinue to manufacture.
For people who will design newly, please consider to get HMC-2400(atomize right above, attached horn), or HMC-2401(atomize diagonally).
※We already finished accepting final order of HM-2412 and HM-2412C in 2018/11/30.

What’s different from old models?

The most big different point is “shape of oscillator”.
On picture below, left side oscillator is old model, and right side one is HMC series.
As the volume of oscillator get smaller in 1/3, it doesn’t need big space for setting.

The shape of transducer has also changed.

The length of screw setting is same, but the material and packing has changed to same one as installed in JM-200. (Picture below: Left side- Old models Right side- HM-2400)

Also, about the HMC-2400, it accessories resin horn to increase a volume of atomization.
If you don’t equip a horn, it atomizes 150ml in hour. If you equip a horn, it atomizes 360ml in hour.(※Because proper water level is different from old model, pay attention when you replace from old model)

Ultrasonic atomizer unit HM-2401 transducer is angled 10°same as old models, to make stable a mist avoid from water fallen directly. For designing, do not place something on direction that water emits.

As the substrate sized down, it could tighten and set substrate with transducer.(Picture below: HMC series)

Ultrasonic atomizer unit has been used for various purposes, atomizing solution.
・Atomizing something solution. It mostly used at experiment in university.
　We don’t recommend for atomizing toxic substance, but there are cases of experiment that
　atomizing with double vessel.
Check how to atomize within double vessel. (※This is immersion type ultrasonic atomizer)

・Make available to see laser, environment test in dense fog and high humidity place, by using mist.
・Equip on machine, for countermeasure of static electricity, and atomizing HClO or slightly acidic electrolytic water.

※超音波霧化ユニットとは※
　超音波霧化ユニットとは、液体に高周波の超音波を与えることで、水の分子が加速し水柱が立ち上がります。水柱の先端付近で耐え切れなくなった液体が微粒化し霧状になります。この現象を利用して、液体を微粒化する装置に組み込むことを想定した超音波振動子と振動子を駆動する発振器をセットした商品です。
　元々、自社で販売をする超音波霧化装置用として開発。特注装置を依頼される企業や大学などの研究部門から、霧を作り出すユニットだけを販売をしてほしいと要望があり、H10年(1998年)8月1日に新聞発表、発売を開始しました。
1個から購入し、試作・実験が出来るということで、長年、各方面でご利用頂いています。

□供給体制
・自社の製造能力に限りがあり、特に次亜塩素酸水対応素子に関しては大量ロットを供給出来ません。現在、数千枚/月を越えるオーダーはお断りしております。
・条件があえば、超音波霧化器、超音波加湿器、超音波噴霧器など液剤を霧にする事を目的とした競合製品を製造している企業様にも供給をしております。
　次亜塩素酸水、微酸性電解水などで超音波素子が破損し困っている企業様は、ご相談下さい。

□コスト

・国内で次亜塩素酸水・微酸性電解水対応の超音波振動子がほぼ無いため、多くの企業様からお引合い頂きますが、コスト的には一般的な加湿用振動子よりも、数倍～数十倍高いお見積になります。

　質問：振動子をアンプで直接駆動したい。
　　　　振動子に印加する電圧と流れる電流，消費電力を教えてください。
　回答：当社で販売しているユニットは、セット購入を前提としています。
　　　　また、振動子への印加電圧及び電流、消費電力に関しましては情報を公開して
　　　　おりません。
　　　　購入後、測定するか、他社製の超音波加湿用振動子をご検討下さい。

　質問：霧化発振基板のR3が焼損するのは何故ですか？またヒューズで対策可能ですか？
　回答：振動子未接続（空焚きなどの異常発熱で振動子の半田が取れた場合を想定）で通電する
　　　　と異常発振（500KHz~600KHz）し、3分以内でR3から発煙することを確認しています。
　　　　調整電流値550mAに対して異常発振時の電流値は約200mAで電流値としては下がって
　　　　います。そのためヒューズ等で保護することは困難と思われます。
　　　　動作確認で超音波振動子を接続しない状態で、通電しないようにして下さい。

　回答：ぎりぎり5台までです。

　質問：ファンが無い場合はどうなりますか？
　回答：放熱板の温度が10分後には90℃を超えますので、FETが破損する可能性があります。
