What do Japanese company do on last day, in end of year?

Hello.

Today, 26th Dec 2020 is our last working day in this year.

This year, we had sell our product, ultrasonic cutter and ultrasonic atomizer much more than old years. This result leaded by coronavirus, that demand of indoor hand working and sterilization get drastically increased. Wishing our products will contribute to rebuild and help all peoples.

By the way, what do your country do on last day end of year? Before entering to vacation, it’s important what you do, to prepare for new start.
In Japanese company, basically we do things below.

Last shipping work

In manufacturer, sales, or some other companies handling products, has to make last shipment. Depends on destination, need’s to separate parcels, sending now, or next year.

Office cleaning

Possibly, most of country’s company are doing office cleaning on last day, but in Japan, people are thinking much more deeply for this cleaning. From old age, Japanese people has a mind, that if we clean the room and enter to new year, we could enter within fresh feeling and could waste last years bad things. Now, cleaning room in end of year is being habit in Japan.

End of year meeting

This meeting is not to discuss about present business. The boss will speech to workers, how we totally done in this year, and how we go next year business. Most of Japanese company are setting this meeting for a last job in that year.

Those three things are basic work what Japanese company do on last day in end of year.
