Test of HClO in “Shading bottle”.

Hello.

Recently here in Japan, national administration called NITE(National Institute of Technology and Evaluation) which is giving Evaluation of products, permitted that HClO is effective for COVID-19, under a certain condition. For a while, it had been says that HClO must not be use as sterilization because it gives bad effection to human body by NITE. Many of manufacturer against for this announce, and the NITE test again exposing HClO in the room filled COVID-19. They investigated it actually killes COVID-19, and change there announcement. However, they do not permit safety of HClO’s atomization, peoples are still not moving active for using HClO.

HClO is not be conserved for long time. The solution “CELA” which we are handling, the expiration date is 6 months for not opened box, 3 months for opened box. HClO has low tolerance to sunlight(UV), it has to be keep in closed place. However, when we use HClO, it may expose under sunlight depends on place. Now, what we are developing here is a “Shading bottle”. Shading bottle shuts light coming inside the bottle, and prevents solution disactivating.

We test how HClO’s density will change exposing under sunlight for 3 days inside the Shading and bottle and Normal bottle. After finish exposing 3 days, use testing paper, see how the penetrated color changes. Then measure density of HClO with instrument.

The left test paper is the reaction of new HClO. It’s easy to distinguish seeing comparing with other three test papers slight reaction.

Those were 9~17ppm, and the start was 62ppm density. The density declined drastrically by exposing under sunlight.

It’s apparently deep color than normal bottle’s test paper. No big difference compared with basic HClO’s reaction.

It’s all keeping over 35ppm. As the newly NITE announced HClO more than 35ppm is effective for COVID-19, those are still able to remove a germs.(Only for 3 days since exposed under sunlight)

We are keep testing to make better Shading bottle, and hope we could sell in near future.
