2 types of polishing works…
Few months ago, we visited to Japanese Mold company.
Mold is a metal model, forming poured melted Plastic resin to specific shape. It used for producing plastic products in large quantity, and “mold contamination” is one of major problem of it. The contamination might lead problems on product’s quality, so it should be keep cleaned.
From that company’s professional staff of mold polishing, we heard that there are 2 types of Polish, “Brushing” and “Scraping”.
Brushing= To polish surface of metal slightly for cleaning up.
Scraping= To rub surface strongly for removing contamination.
According to the staff, both work’s proper edge and a way of processing are different. It’s simple work, but by diving deeply to it, sometimes we find something new at the field where you be.
To comply both purposes, we are now studying “Mold polishing market”, restarting from beginning.
