Team name: Kura-Ko modeling club
Model name: Purifying rain that corrects distortions

Based on the concept of “purifying rain that washes away the absurdities of society,” this team created a rainy cityscape.
The motif is the Shibuya scramble crossing. ‍♂️
The reason for covering whole model with a box is to highlight the illuminations and contrast the inside and outside worlds. The outside is an image of the world before purification, and the inside is an image of the world after purification. Illuminations were applied to buildings, traffic lights, lights, and vehicles, creating a dreamlike, quiet, and breathing cityscape at night with the city lights reflecting in the rain.
All the buildings have originally made, and details such as the expression of rain and roads are designed well.
