【Echo Tech】 Report of attended “craft” fair 2022 in Toyohashi.
June 17-18th 2022, craft fair has held at Toyohashi gym.
We welcomed many visitors with ultrasonic cutter ZO series in our booth.
Thursday, 1 p.m. leaved office to go and set up booth at Toyohashi gym.
To attract visitors, we brought dinosaur paper crafts, which we cut with ultrasonic cutter ZO series.
4 p.m., finished booth set up! Ready for fair!

Next day, leaved office in morning and make preparation for welcoming visitors.
At 10 a.m. fair has started!
Right side is Echo Tech, and Left side is Honda Electronics booth.
From open time, many visitors came to our booth and tried our ultrasonic cutter ZO series.
Many peoples who likes to create something by themselves gather in this Toyohashi craft fair.
Most of them are interested in “tools”, but we don’t met so much peoples who have tried ultrasonic cutter before.
Because it was Friday, most visitors were adult who came to greet their business partner.
First day, we met around 100 visitors.(counted distributed catalog)
In second day, we met about 300 visitors.
It was one of busiest exhibition in my career…
Many children tried ultrasonic cutter and seems it was impressive experience for them to cut plastic like butter. We heard that they doesn’t feel anything from hand piece, so they felt cutting with normal cutter. Wishing they remember our cutter along, and reminds when they need processing tool someday.
While this 2 days, Honda Electronics did audibility test to all booth visitors.
Visitor stand in front of sound emission machine, and staff emit sound start from lower pitch and changing eventually to high pitch(20 kHz max.). When visitor could not hear sound, they raise their hand. To make score, we stick seal on graph segmented by age, point of frequency where they could not hear.

This graph shows that younger age audibility is higher(able to hear high pitch sound) than older age.
Surprisingly, some peoples could hear a sound higher than 20 kHz.
(Generally, it says that audible sound’s limit is 20 kHz.)
Plastic model, wood, textile, we met many demands in this fair.
It was impressive that most of them uses cutter very well, because they get use to make something.
This fair has held once in 2 years. We will attend to this fair in next time again, please come and see over Toyohashi company’s booth!
