Secondary “State of Emergency” has declared in Japan. 【Echo Tech】
Hello.
Since last end of year, coronavirus infected people drastically increased in Japan.
600, 700, 800… daily incidence rate in Tokyo gradually increased that marked highest rate, and yesterday, the it marks over 2,000 cases in just single day at Tokyo.
Responding to this circumstance, in 7th January 2021, Japanese government declared “State of Emergency” in Tokyo and other 3 prefectures(Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba) close to Tokyo. This declaration were second time, spaced 9 months from last time.
According to government announce, this “Emergency” will be keep 8th January to 7th February 2021. During this term, all restaurant locates in those regions has requested for closing their store until 8 p.m., and events has requested to accommodate people in same place lesser than 5,000 peoples, under 50% of accommodation ratio. Also, Japanese government are now moving to decrease ratio of workers going company, by changing to telework, and reduce children from body contact through school exercise.
Responding to this declaration, people’s opinion has divided in two, that is agreeing or disagreeing to this policy.
Opinion of Agree
The last “State of Emergency” declaration was April, 2020. COVID-19 has been outbreak in Japan and spread to whole region rapidly. Many people had quarantine to brake pandemic, and it seems incidence rate get decrease in Summer. However, after people released from stress, many people started gather in same place, and now leaded this circumstance rebounding bad condition. People who agree to this policy says, we need to think more serious about this pandemic again, and this “State of Emergency” declaration is a chance to make conscious on people.
Opinion of Disagree
People’s life won’t change even if government declared. It will just incite fear between peoples. Many peoples are knowing coronavirus, that they get used of living under pandemic. What people should do is to keep prevent for not be infect.
Who could guess this pandemic spreads more, even though we had long quarantine about a year ago. Same as this situation, it could happen again in near future, that this pandemic keeps along and increase infected people.
