Automotive

For resin parts on cars and motorcycles.
The ZO series is used for machining hard automotive components across a variety of applications, including manufacturing, repair, and customization.
Examples of machined parts
– Headlight
– Bumper
– Interior parts
– Prototype parts
– EV-related components
Advantages of the ZO series
– Clean cut surface
– Less cracking
– Less cost than industrial machines
– Fine processing with variety of blades
We recommend ZO-95 for automotive applications.

- High robustness of the handpiece
- Foot switch operation
- S-High mode for powerful cut (3 min. continuous use)
Headlight

- Opening the headlight assembly (cutting the butyl sealant)
- Partial trimming of the lens and housing
- Installation of LED projectors
- Modification of the inner panel
- Cutting out sections for daytime running light (DRL) mounting
- Removal of sealing material
Ultrasonic vibration minimizes melting and cracking of the resin, allowing for a cleaner finish than what can be achieved with a grinder.
For thick materials, Long blade ZH10 or Square blade ZH41 are recommended.
For recessed or hard-to-reach areas, Curving blades ZH03, ZH18, ZH19, ZH20 are recommended.
Bumper

Easily remove burrs remaining on flat surfaces.
Using the Flat blades ZH05A, ZH06A or Curving blades ZH03, ZH18, ZH19, ZH20 allows you to remove burrs cleanly and at an angle without damaging the workpiece.
